Students may earn a minor in Criminal Justice Studies.

The minor consists of 15 hours of upper-division coursework with at least 12 of the 15 hours taken in residence (on campus at UGA)

There are two required courses for the minor: POLS 3600 Criminal Justice Administration and SOCI 3810 Criminology. The remaining courses (9 hours) must be drawn from at least two of the three areas as listed in the Bulletin.

To preserve the interdisciplinary nature of the program of study, no more than nine hours of coursework may be drawn from the same discipline (as indicated by departmental prefix).

Students should be aware that some classes have introductory pre-requisites (i.e. PSYC 1101; SOCI 1101; POLS 1101)
