We are proud to recognize students whose hard work, character, and achievements reflect excellence in and out of the classroom. Each year CJSP gives an award for Outstanding Senior based on three important criteria: academic achievement, service, and professional promise. This year's recipient of the Outstanding Senior Award is Alyssa Huffman. The Best Research Paper Award is given each year for the "Best Paper" written by a CJ graduate in the past calendar year. We request faculty to submit nominations for papers that are of outstanding quality. This year's recipient is Ashley Hall. The Susette Talarico Service Leadership Award is given to students who have strong records of service to the community and on campus. Dr. Talarico served as director of the Criminal Justice Studies Program for over two decades; she was also an Albert Berry Saye Professor of American Government and Constitutional Law and was awarded the Josiah Meigs Distinguished Professorship for excellence in teaching at UGA. This year's recipient of the Talarico Award is Madison Bell. Congratulations to these amazing students-- we are so proud of each of you!
